Canny pricing in 2026:
what it actually costs

Canny advertises "from $19/mo" — but bills per tracked user, so the real number depends on how much feedback you collect. Here's the full math: every tier, the scaling table, and the costs the pricing page doesn't lead with.

TL;DR — Canny pricing 2026

Canny has four plans: Free (25 tracked users), Core from $19/mo, Pro from $79/mo (annual billing, 100 tracked-user floor; Pro is $99/mo billed monthly) and custom Business/Enterprise. Because Canny bills per "tracked user" (anyone who posts, votes or comments), costs scale with engagement: at 1,000 tracked users, Core is about $249/mo and Pro about $529/mo — $2,988 to $6,348 per year.

Features.Vote is a feature voting tool with voting boards, public roadmaps and changelogs at flat pricing — $9/mo (Lite) or $29/mo (Growth), unlimited voters, no per-tracked-user fees. It is the only tool in this category with a native SwiftUI SDK for iOS, iPadOS & macOS and an MCP server so AI agents can manage your board. Voters don't need to sign up. 14-day free trial, no credit card.

The Part That Matters: Tracked-User Scaling

A tracked user is anyone who ever posts, votes or comments — and the count only goes up. This is Canny's published annual pricing at each tier:

Four Costs the Pricing Page Doesn't Lead With

Tracked users are cumulative

A 'tracked user' is anyone who ever posts, votes or comments. They accumulate over time, so a healthy feedback widget mechanically pushes you into higher tiers — you pay more because your feedback program is working.

The advertised price is the annual floor

The $19 (Core) and $79 (Pro) figures are annual-billing prices at the 100 tracked-user minimum. Pay monthly and Pro is $99/mo. Most real boards sit well above 100 tracked users within a quarter.

Admin seats are capped per plan

Owner and Manager seats are limited on each tier. Growing teams either share logins or upgrade plans — contributor seats are unlimited, but the seats that can actually manage the board are not.

The free plan is a demo

25 tracked users total. An embedded widget on even a small production app exhausts that in days. It's fine for evaluating the UI, not for running feedback.

What the Same Board Costs Flat-Rate

Features.Vote charges for the product, not for your users' engagement: $9/mo (Lite) or $29/mo (Growth), unlimited voters, voting board + roadmap + changelog included, plus a native iOS SDK and MCP server. At 1,000 engaged users that's $220–500/mo less than Canny — every month.

When Canny Is (and Isn't) Worth It

Worth it if…

  • You'll actually use Autopilot's AI feedback discovery (Intercom, Zendesk, Gong)
  • Two-way Jira / Linear / Salesforce sync is central to your workflow
  • You need segmentation by company, plan or MRR
  • The budget owner is fine with a bill that scales with engagement

Not worth it if…

  • You mainly want a voting board, roadmap and changelog
  • You're a startup or indie dev watching every dollar
  • Your product is an iOS/macOS app (Canny is WebView-only on mobile)
  • You want more feedback without paying more for it
